When I started planning my wedding, I quickly realized the internet is a maze of dresses, décor, and ideas. Beautiful things are everywhere, but it felt like they were scattered across a hundred tabs. Even guest bags were a headache. Most of what I found felt outdated, like the kind of stuff people toss before they even get home.

Somewhere along the way, I surprised myself. I went from calling myself the “anti-bride” (yes, I was engaged for two years) to absolutely loving the design process.

 

Picking details, mixing styles, dreaming up new themes... it became my favorite part. I realized that the right pieces don’t just fit into a theme, they can actually create it. And I kept thinking, if I had gone with a different venue, I would have had a whole new set of ideas I loved just as much.
